Premier Padel: A New Chapter Opens with an Exceptional World Tour
Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) and the Fédération Internationale de Padel (FIP), in collaboration with the Padel Professional Association (PPA) and the International Padel Players Association (IPPA), recently formalized QSI’s acquisition of the World Padel Tour (WPT). This historic initiative gave birth to Premier Padel, an unprecedented professional world padel circuit under the umbrella of the FIP.
A Rich and Diversified 2024 Season
The inaugural season of Premier Padelscheduled for 2024, promises a diversity of new destinations, from the Middle East to South America and Europe. Iconic sites such as the Stade Roland-Garros and the Foro Italico will also be back on the program.
25 Tournaments, 18 Countries, 5 Continents
The competition will be spread over 25 tournaments, encompassing 18 countries on 5 continents. It kicks off on February 26, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh P1, followed by Qatar Major. The season then moves on to Mexico, Venezuela, Brussels, Andalusia, Paraguay and Chile, followed by Europe and the Middle East with new stops at Premier Padel Rotterdam, Düsseldorf, Sweden, Dubai and Kuwait.
This year is particularly marked by the arrival of Bordeaux on the calendar. From June 10 to 16, 2024, the Arkéa Arena will welcome the world’s best players in an exceptional setting.
Epic Finals in Barcelona
The season will end with a bang at the first Premier Padel Tour Finals, scheduled to take place in Barcelona from December 18 to 22, 2024. The top-ranked pairs will battle it out for the ultimate trophy of this exceptional season. Premier Padel promises a year of intense competition, innovation and passion for padel enthusiasts around the world.
